Welcome to Buzzard's documentation!

Buzzards aims to provide an easy to use interface to the optimization algorithms in `SciPy <https://scipy.org/>`_
for parameter identification in finite element simulations.
It is developed to work with simulations in `EdelweissFE <https://github.com/EdelweissFE/EdelweissFE>`_
which makes use of the finite element and material routines provided by
`Marmot <https://github.com/MAteRialMOdelingToolbox/Marmot>`_.
Additionally, an interface to
`Abaqus <https://www.3ds.com/de/produkte-und-services/simulia/produkte/abaqus/)>`_ is available.
